Gain some peace-of-mind knowing that as a member of our ParentMD community, you have access to call an experienced pediatric RN from Anytime Pediatrics, a third-party virtual nursing provider. For all of the questions that come after your pediatrician's office closes, you have someone to turn to.

How It Works

Request a visit.

You can request a visit by clicking the "Start a Visit" button below.

Receive care.

Speak with a licensed Pediatric Nurse to get your questions answered! You can either select a phone call visit or a virtual video visit through the Anytime Pediatrics platform or app. Follow the instructions on the "Start a Visit" page for instructions on a virtual visit.

Share information with your primary pediatrician.

If you would like to share visit notes and advice documented by the Anytime Pediatrics team, you can log into your Anytime Pediatrics account and download the visit notes.

Q & A

How much does each visit cost?
The After Hours Nurse Advice Line is included in the ParentMD subscription and is no additional charge.
Is this covered by my insurance?
Some insurance companies offer their own nurse advice services. However, insurance companies typically do not reimburse for nurse advice services.
Is this service available on holidays?
Yes! This is available year-round between the hours of 5 PM - 8 AM Monday - Thursday and 5 PM Friday through 8 AM Monday for all applicable U.S. time zones.
Can I get connected to a pediatrician or doctor if needed?
Anytime After Hours Nurse Triage may not have a connection to your pediatrician however, the service will be able to refer you to a local urgent care or emergency room if required. The notes from your visit with our nurses will be sent to you to share with your personal pediatrician as well.
Will my visit be a phone call or video call?
All ParentMD patients and parents will have the option to join the After Hours Nurse Advice service via video or phone call. If a phone call is initiated and the nurse determines that a video call will provide a better medical assessment, the patient will be asked to join a video call through the platform.
Do I have to download an app to do this? 
Parents and patients may join the Anytime After Hours Nurse Advice service through the web, telephone, or the Anytime Pediatrics App. The app is not required.
Are all states in the U.S. eligible to request a visit?
Currently the Anytime After Hours Nurse Advice service is available in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

The third-party provider, Anytime Pediatrics, is currently working on adding licenses in other states to expand the coverage provided.
