What is the Resource Navigator?
The Resource Navigator provides a form for you to complete with the goal of supplying you with the resources to navigate healthcare or seek out a potential second opinion. You will be able to connect with a professional in healthcare who will do the research for you to lead you in the next best direction for your special case needs.
How do I cancel?
To cancel your ParentMD subscription, log in to your account, click on "Subscriptions" and select "Cancel".
How often do you update content?
We are evaluating, creating, and sharing new content daily. Existing content is updated as needed based upon the advice and research of leading medical governing bodies.
Can this replace my pediatrician?
No, this cannot replace your pediatrician. ParentMD is designed to be a supplemental resource to your primary pediatrician, especially because currently, healthcare systems cannot guarantee more than 15 to 30 minutes with your pediatrician at a given time, which may not give you time to discuss all of your questions. ParentMD can be an additional resource for your parenting questions but it is not a medical provider and does not provide personalized medical advice. Additionally, ParentMD provides access to third-party virtual pediatrician and nurse providers concerning questions about your child’s medical needs, but these virtual visits cannot replace or substitute for an ongoing patient-physician relationship and treatment plan with your pediatrician.
Do I need to have insurance to cover this service?
Insurance is not required. All subscriptions and purchases are out-of-pocket.
Do I have to pay for the 24/7 Virtual Pediatrician or After Hours Virtual Nurse?
Depending on your membership level, all visits with a 24/7 Virtual Pediatrician and After Hours Virtual Nurse are covered with the purchase of your membership.

Virtual pediatrician services are provided by third-party pediatric provider Blueberry Pediatrics. Virtual nursing services are provided by third-party nursing provider Anytime Pediatrics.
